Seed Consultants Launches Green Brands Study in Romania

The Strategic Branding and Design Consultancy Company launched in Romania Green Brands Study 2010, made by its exclusive partner Landor Associates, along with several other WPP group agencies.

The study was conducted on a sample of over 9,000 participants from 8 countries – France, Germany, Great Britain, USA, China, Australia, Brazil and India. Study data can be used as a benchmark for international trends to understand consumers’ perceptions and behaviors in relation to green brands and their relationship to sustainable development.

Moreover, the study also sought to create a top of the most “green” brands. According to the perception of the study participants, top brands include well-known names such as The Body Shop, Ikea, Nokia or Dove.

According to the study, consumers in all eight countries declare that they plan to spend more money on green “brand” in the coming year and that most consumers want to buy services or products from companies with sustainable development policies .

Moreover, consumers expect the big companies to have sustainable development and environmental protection policies, with respondents from all over the world putting the first of all the importance of reducing the level of toxic substances, and in the following places the responsible management of water resources, the reduction of the quantities materials used in the packaging process and the use of recycled materials.

Study data proves that the desire to protect the environment can be an extremely relevant brand attribute and a powerful tool for branding.

“The major goal of this study is to inform both consumers and companies that” green “concerns become part of the society we live in, that sustainability strategies and social responsibility bring benefits to both parties and especially become a differentiating factor in getting the attachment to a brand, “said Dochita Zenoveiov, Managing Director Seed Consultants. She appreciates that “brands and companies can now come closer than ever to consumers by addressing local environmental issues and their concerns or interests.”

The 2010 ImagePower® Green Brands study is the fifth edition, this year being the largest ever made, with over 9,000 people interviewed online from 8 countries. It was done by Cohn & amp; Wolfe, Landor Associates and Penn Schoen Berland, in partnership with environmental corporate strategy consultants, Esty Environmental Partners.

In Romania, it was launched by Seed Consultants branding and design agency, exclusive partner Landor. Those who want to find out more about ImagePower® Green Brands have the e-mail address catalina.vulpe@seed-consultants.ro.
