Seed Consultants refreshes the Galador brand
The Seed Consultants branding and design consultancy, the exclusive partner of Landor in Romania, has developed a branding project for Galador, a brand of exclusively natural handmade soaps.
Galador is a small brand, but it has a great story behind, being created thanks to the passion of a local producer from the Sibiu area to the nature and vegetal elements. From a hobby, for years, she researched and experimented her own formulations and recipes to create 100% natural, cold-made soaps that do not aggressive skin like synthetic products. In 2006, it has successfully launched on the market handmade soaps under the brand Galador, which are marketed only in pharmacies and natural stores.
In 2009, the business owner decided to create an attractive packaging design that would impart the natural qualities and properties of the products and also modify the structural design of the packaging by calling Seed Consultants. “Because the market demand was growing, we need first of a solution package that allows me packaging fast soaps because packaging is done manually, but also wanted to be perceived by consumers natural qualities of products from the moment they were on the shelf. And the Seed team delivered me an integrated solution and the effect on the market was instant, “says Mr. Ladislau Gagyi, General Manager.
The Galador brand represents nature, vitality, femininity and closeness both to nature and to the consumer, thanks to the care that ingredients and flavors are processed and dosed, the product being manually manufactured by cold process. “I was deeply impressed by the passion of our customers manufacture these products exclusively natural in a place idyllic near Cindrel and we wanted to reflect craftsmanship producing handmade these soaps in packaging design, but also to offer the a practical and efficient solution for packaging products, “says Roxana Iancu, Senior Brand Consultant at Seed. “To convey the idea of a man-made, plant-friendly, organic product, we chose a range of natural colors and we looked for packaging a special paper that looked like a handmade, while the graphics reminded of the shape of the soap – a special shape created for Galador – and vegetable ingredients, “adds Raluca Beldiman, Brand Designer.
“Due to the intense competition and the current economic environment, packaging is an essential marketing tool, which has to communicate consistently, simply and directly the values of a brand to consumers, even from the shelf, and that was our goal in this project. We believe very much in the power of consistent and differentiated brands, the most recent confirmation of this is the demonstrated success of the ZU radio, a brand created by the Seed Consultants team, which only 8 months after its launch reached No. 1 in audiences in Bucharest, “adds Dochita Zenoveiov, Managing Director at Seed.
