Seed Consultants created the Novatik brand

The Seed Consultants brand and design consulting company, the exclusive partner of Landor in Romania, has made the name, visual identity and graphic applications for the new brand, which is a complex and efficient set of pluvial systems. Novatik thus integrates Roof Distribution’s premium roof portfolio with Final Distribution, the leader in the Romanian natural stone roof tile market.

Collaboration with Final Distribution has begun since the end of 2009, when Seed Consultants was selected after a highly competitive pitch to redefine the identity and strategy of the corporate brand. The partnership then extended to product brands, and Novatik is the result of completing the company’s offer by producing its own brand.

The name of the brand had to convey the exceptional qualities of the pluvial system – the efficient form and the special design – but it is also close to the field of activity. Brand name is creatively composed, “Novatik” is born by adding the words “new / novator” – referring to the innovative character of the products – and “atic” – with the versatility of the “upper part of the roof” and “beauty, good taste” .
Novatik has a strong, distinctive and modern sound, reflecting brand values: innovative, distinctive and efficient.

The general concept of the logo can be described as representing the idea of ​​progress, innovation and leadership. By using the aspirational symbol in vivid colors along with the simple logo without serifs, the logo gets a contemporary image and
differentiating.

Dan Mircescu, General Manager, continued to collaborate with Seed because “the team understood the business model very well and we were confident that besides the company’s branding project, they were also able to develop the new brand of pluvial systems in the portfolio our. We are very pleased with the final result and we estimate an increase in turnover of 20% for 2011, “he said.

The total investment in the new line of products was around 500,000 euros and the company estimates that 17% of the turnover for the current year will be the revenue from the new line of products marketed under the Novatik brand.

“The project to create the new brand was very intense, there were many customer-preferred names, which eventually chose the one with the strongest resonance, confirming once again his entrepreneurial vision,” says Roxana Iancu, Senior Brand Consultant to Seed. The stages of the branding project consisted of market analysis, brand platform development, name creation and brand registration consultancy, visual identity design, graphics applications and brand manual.
