Seed Consultants is creating the packaging design for the dairy brand in Agrofam Holding’s portfolio
Seed Consultants’ brand and design consultancy has developed the visual identity and packaging design for the Ovidiu brand, produced by Agrofam Holding, one of the largest agricultural groups.
The Agrofam Group, with a turnover of over 20 million euros, decided to enter the dairy category by investing in a goat and sheep farm and in a milk processing plant in Fetesti.
Stefan Poienaru, the manager of Agrofam and one of the most important landowners in the country, has opted to produce dairy products based on goat and sheep milk, identifying an untapped market niche. Thus, the Ovidiu brand was born, the Seed team being designed to create a more attractive packaging design for the entire product portfolio, from dairy to spreads.
The branding process included a stage of analysis, identification of contact points, creation of the brand platform, the stage where several workshops took place with the Agrofam project team and the drawing of the packaging.
Packaging design is developed with traditional, strong and visible graphics on the shelf by choosing a color associated with the main ingredient, milk. This aspect is also found in the graphics of the logo, for which a strong, traditional font and graphic details have been chosen that speak of a tasty and quality product.
The personal touch comes from the graphic motifs extracted from the product’s own story, the forms in the background giving the pattern that is printed on the products during the production process. With an image captured in a natural setting, the design highlights the features and benefits of the product: close to nature, simple, authentic.
